“Just before the public get their hands on the latest smartphones from Apple this Friday, the reviews of Tim Cook’s new hardware are coming in,” Ewan Spence reports for Forbes. “The screen is just part of the new design cues found in both the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Moving away from the sharp and distinctive edges of the iPhone 5S ‘the iPhone 6 is thinner, and has curved edges,’ writes Walt Mossberg at Re/Code.”
“Re/Code’s Lauren Goode takes a look ago one of the big advantage of the iPhone 6 Plus… the battery: ‘In my tests, which involved setting the display brightness to 50 percent and cycling through my regular routine of apps and phone calls, the iPhone 6 Plus would last from early one morning until evening the following day,'” Spence reports. “The consensus view is that with the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple has two hit smartphones going on sale this Friday.”
