iPad (5th gen.) due March 2013; Apple preps iPad mini with Retina display, says source

iPad (5th gen.) is to be released in March 2013, claims Macotakara, citing an “inside source.”

Source said the design of this new iPad will be similar to iPad mini, i.e. lightweight and thinner (4mm in height, 17mm in width, depth 2mm).

Additionally, Macotakara, reports, trial production of iPad mini (2nd generation) has begun with a 7.9-inch Retina display 2048 x 1536 pixels (326ppi) and an A6X processor – the same fast, unmatched mobile processors as in the current iPad.

Additionally, we’ve heard rumblings, not able to be confirmed currently, that iPad (5th gen.) may get the Apple A7 processor, but is more likely to also sport the highly-regarded A6X.
