Jefferies Managing Director Peter Misek today discusses the coming iPhone 5 with Emily Chang on Bloomberg Television’s “Bloomberg West.”
Misek spoke with suppliers in Asia and says that the volume ramps are gradually building this summer and that “the timeline and the behavior of the suppliers is very similar, identical, in fact, to similar launches.”
As for pent-up demand, Misek hardly goes out on a limb, considering that every iPhone has accomplished what he predicts for the next-gen iPhone, but states, “We think this could be the largest and quickest ramp in consumer electronics history.”
