“Apple CEO Tim Cook surprised the crowd in Sun Valley, Idaho, this morning by showing up at the Allen & Co. annual retreat to attend a session called ‘Iran vs. Israel,'” Laire Atkinson reports for The New York Post.
“This was Cook’s first time at the high-powered event that draws media and tech moguls,” Atkinson reports. “While his name was on the list of possible attendees, no one knew if the low-key CEO would put in an appearance.”
Atkinson reports, “Cook stopped for a quick chat with The Post, confirming it was his first time at the mogulfest. When asked if he was there in hopes of striking entertainment deals, he said, ‘We are talking to a lot of people here.’ And might those deals be for the long-rumored Apple TV? ‘I can’t tell you that,’ he said.”
