“A forum poster on Chinese Web site Weiphone claims (Translate) to have received an image from a U.S.-based Apple employee of the spec sheet for an upcoming 13-inch MacBook Pro,” Don Reisinger reports for CNET.
“The list includes mention of a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, upgraded from the 2.4GHz option already available in the cheaper 13-inch model,” Reisinger reports. “Aside from that, the spec sheet shows the same amount of RAM, the same-sized hard drive, and the identical 8x SuperDrive optical drive. A Thunderbolt port will once again find its way to the computer, but according to the spec sheet, the Mac will boast two USB 3.0 ports, rather than the current USB 2.0. The image also includes mention of Bluetooth 4.0 support.”
Reisinger reports, “Last month, Bloomberg reported that Apple was planning to unveil new MacBooks at its Worldwide Developers Conference next week.”
