‘Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview’ returns to theaters; DVD, VOD coming this summer (with video)

“Magnolia Pictures has acquired the U.S. rights to ‘Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview,’ and will open the film in select theaters on May 11, with DVD and Video on Demand releases following this summer,” Tim Kenneally reports for Reuters.

“The film, which was lensed by Robert Cringley in 1995 and features Apple honcho Jobs discussing a wide range of topics such as his early days, career battles and vision for the future, saw limited special screenings at Landmark theaters earlier,” Kenneally reports. “Parts of the interview had aired in a television special in the mid-’90s, but most of the sit-down was shelved and assumed to be lost over the subsequent 17 years.”
