“A children’s clothes retailer that sold baby outfits based on Apple’s iconic iPod and iPhone user interfaces and icons has been forced to close after Apple demanded it cease business,” Simon Jary reports for PC Advisor.
“Website ipopmybaby.com has been selling the range of iPod and iPhone baby clothes for several years,” Jary reports. “But Apple is notoriously protective of its brand and relevant icons, and has finally sent its lawyers in to close down the ipopmybaby business.”
Jary reports, “Apple hasn’t demanded a complete cessation of business, allowing the website to sell of the remainder of its stock. The retailer is now offering 40 percent discounts on all its Apple brand-busting baby clobber ‘until supplies last or December 11th, whichever comes first.'”
