Apple wins two original iPhone patents regarding rotation heuristics

“The US Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 12 newly-granted patents for Apple Inc. today,” Jack Purcher reports for Patently Apple.

“The two patents that stood out from the pack this morning related to the original 2007 iPhone,” Purcher reports. “In fact the patents were complimentary to one another in that one covers portrait-landscape rotation heuristics and the other covers screen rotation gestures”

Purcher writes, “I guess that’s a double whammy for Apple and just more headaches for the likes of Google’s Android.”
