“The reasons for the cuts aren’t known. The Vibrant is now a few months old but is still the network’s premier smartphone. Its Galaxy Tab was already tied for Sprint for the least expensive model on contract,” Electronista reports. “As the smallest of the large national carriers, T-Mobile has often had to use price to draw in customers and may simply be hoping to get an edge over others. Early price cuts, however, are usually signs of slow sales.”
