MacDailyNews Take: For Apple’s fiscal 2010 fourth quarter ended September 25, 2010, the company sold 3.89 million Macs during the quarter, a 27 percent unit increase over the year-ago quarter. Apple’s total Mac sales (notebooks and desktops) could exceed 4+ million units for the holiday quarter. We believe that MacBook Air sales, if broken out, would shock most Apple analysts.
