Oprah loves her iPad; reveals her favorite apps

“We know Oprah’s a fan of the iPad — she gave all her magazine staffers one earlier this year — and she’s spent a fair amount of time finding her favorites among the vast iTunes app store,” Abbey Klaassen reports for Advertising Age.

Oprah’s favorite iPad apps include:
• CNN for iPhone ($1.99) (pixel-doubled, we presume)
• ABC News for iPad (free)
• Brushes – iPad Edition ($7.99)
• SketchBook Pro ($7.99)
• SCRABBLE for iPad ($9.99) (which she says she plays while on the treadmill???)

Klassen reports, “She also said she reads magazines and newspapers on it. Except, perhaps, her own? The O App hasn’t launched yet but, said O Editor Susan Casey, who interviewed her mag’s namesake, it’s coming Nov. 16.”
