“I think, if you don’t own it already Apple, you probably want to go ahead and establish your cost basis at these current levels,” Cody Willard blogs.

“Because this stock is going higher. Much higher,” Willard asserts. “Probably to at least $350 per share before year end. And Apple’s gonna hit $1000 before 2015.”
Willard writes. “So wouldn’t you like to look back when it does and proudly tell people your own cost basis? Let’s dig into the fundies and market and see why I’m pounding the table once again on my old friend AAPL… Apple’s a screaming buy right here right now.”

For all you doubters:
Go to yahoo.com….get a graph of Microsoft at maximum size….then compare with apple….you will see that apple could hit $1,000 quite easily!
I hope he’s right – that would mean my meagre 225 shares would be worth $225,000.
It’s not hard to make a case for Apple being at $500 share price with $100B in cash at the end of 2012.
If in 2005 you’d predicted Apple’s market cap would exceed Microsoft’s in 2010 you’d have been called crazy.
The market for consumer electronics is not static and Apple has lots of room for growth in many markets.
I’m already pretty proud of my cost basis in the single digits.
Now if aapl knocked googles Android platform down there’s no doubt they could hit the $1000 a share mark.
Best strategy is to hit google where it hurts: Online Advertising
if Google didn’t compete with Apples iOS platform they could of had a much more profitable partnership and Apple might of choosen to not make iAds. Well the cats out of the bag now.
Agree with one poster. We need to get rid of that Kenyan Muslim fsckup in the Whitey House soon. He doesnt know his head from his ass. When we dump that spend thrift POS, then we will start to heal the nation.
Bush was so much a better president its not even an argument. Hussien is a assidiot.

There is a proof, neanderthals still lurking around. What more, they can type. Evolution works, I guess.
Troll Alert!!!
“So wouldn’t you like to look back when it does and PROUDLY tell people your own cost basis?”
Revealing that ego-massage is your real goal proves that you know NOTHING about investing. Epic fail.
so tired of the Teatards that always seem to pop up on this site.
If everyone is buying and holding. Then who is gonna sell their apple stock? Hmmm? Anyone? You can’t buy what isn’t available. There is a finite supply.
If you’ve got alittle spare cash. Buy $1000 worth of Apple shares now & hold. Then in 4 years time buy yourself a nice hi-spec MacBook Pro with the gains! If not, you may still get most of your money back, so put it towards a MacBook Pro. Or what if you lose it all? Then there would be No Apple anyway!
It if was just about AAPL, then 1000 is a reachable fantasy, but given all
the other variables in the mix, then the highest dream for AAPL would be more like 500…their product line has been reinvented to my amazement numerous times, but just how many more? The iPad has filled a gap, but what other gaps are there. The missing mini-leg I see is voip Facetime across all product lines, including a nano-watch, after milking the carriers for all they are worth currently. Look at how close the new nano is to being watch sized. The only other category not completely tapped is the living room TV and the new AppleTV is a step in the right direction…just missing adjustable distance camera and more content.
I should have put EVERY dollar of savings I had when I bought a bunch of Apple stock years ago for $13. Hindsight is frustrating and depressing.
I predict AAPL hits $10,000 by 2100.
Pop quiz: name one stock trading at $1,000/share.
As a shareholder, I would like to see a stock split. It would make it more affordable for many and the increased number of shares would tamp down volatility.
What an idiot. As good as Apple is, it’s stock price is still heavily dependent on wider market fundamentals, and nobody can tell where they will be in five years. If anything, most signs are pointing to another drop or a period of very slow growth.
@breeze
“without a doubt”
LOL. While not impossible, you’re an absolute lunatic if you don’t think there are any doubts of this happening. Thanks for giving me a good laugh
You all do know that the world ends on 12/21/2012

So No Apple won’t make it to $1000 per share in 2015
