Dell leaks show ‘iPhone killers’ Windows Phone 7 ‘Lightning’ and Google Android ‘Thunder’

invisibleSHIELD case for iPadEngadget is the recipient of Dell “leaks” that highlight, among other devices, the Dell “Lightning” and “Thunder” smartphones. Both devices are said to ship “around Q4 of this year.”

The “Lighting” is to run Microsoft’s Windows 7 Phone and is said to offer “1GHz QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, WVGA 4.1-inch OLED display, AT&T and T-Mobile 3G, five megapixel autofocus camera, 1GB of flash with 512MB RAM plus 8GB of storage on a MicroSD card (non-user-replaceable, we’re assuming), GPS, accelerometer, compass, FM radio, and full Flash support… [however] Microsoft’s told us Flash won’t make it into the OS initially,” Nilay Patel reports for Engadget.

Dell’s “Thunder” wil run Google’s Android 2.1 and offer similar specs as the “Lightning.”
