Apple’s Cupertino campus evacuated over suspicious envelope containing white powder

“Apple Computer’s Cupertino campus was evacuated Wednesday after an employee found a suspicious envelope containing a white powder in the cafeteria, authorities said,” Sandra Gonzales reports for The Mercury News.

“Preliminary tests, however, revealed the powder was not a hazardous substance,” Gonzales reports.

Morrissey said Santa Clara County fire crews went to Apple’s Building 4 on De Anza Boulevard at about 3:30 p.m. after they were notified of the suspicious envelope.”
