On Monday, Taiwan cellphone maker HTC posted a 30% drop in its first-quarter earnings.
“HTC said in a statement its first-quarter net profit was T$4.89 billion ($148 million), ahead of a T$4.64 billion forecast in a Reuters Estimates poll of 10 analysts and compared to a net profit of T$6.945 billion for the same period last year,” Kelvin Soh reports for Reuters.
