“When they are asked about the issue, executives at China Unicom say that the negotiations are ongoing but they have no idea about the specific details,” SinoCast reports.
“China Unicom is scheduled to kick off its 3G services on May 17 and it hopes to close the deal with Apple before April 15, according to some reports. Now the telecoms carrier has been advertising its upcoming 3G services nationwide,” SinoCast reports.
