Apple releases iPhone Software 2.2.1

Apple today released iPhone Software 2.2.1 which improves the general stability of Safari and fixes an issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll. The update supports iPhone and iPhone 3G.

A version is also available for iPod touch (1st and 2nd gen devices) that contians bug fixes and general improvements.

The updates are available via iTunes 8. Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer and select your device under Devices. In the Summary pane, click “Check for Update.” Click Download and Install.
