Spend an evening in Santa Barbara with Woz

The University of California, Santa Barbara, California presents:
An Evening with Steve Wozniak – From Computer Geek to Cult Icon, and a Personal View on What Comes Next

Tech guru and philanthropist Steve Wozniak helped shape modern technology when he single-handedly designed and built the Apple I and II, effectively inventing the personal computer and co-founding Apple Computer with friend Steve Jobs. After then earning his college degree and receiving the President’s National Technology Award, “Woz” retired from Apple and went on to invent such “universally” employed items as the universal remote and to co-author the recent memoir “iWoz – From Computer Geek to Cult Icon.” He will address current technology and what’s in store for future generations.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Ticket prices:
• General public $16.00
• Student/Youth $11.00

Steve Wozniak will discuss his experiences in computing and his thoughts on the future of information technology at the Arlington Theatre on Wednesday, April 2, at 8pm PDT.

Sometimes we laugh at our own headlines. Other times, we shudder. This one caused both. No offense, Kathy.
