“A reader from MacRumors forwarded an e-mail that he/she had received from Apple regarding whether there would be a live stream available via the web for next week’s highly-anticipated keynote speech at Macworld San Francisco (which will, again, take place at 9am Pacific Time at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA on January 10th),” Jacqui Cheng reports for Ars technica. The e-mail reads:
Thank you for your email. A replay will be available on http://www.apple.com/quicktime/mac.html – but there are no plans for live streaming.
Cheng reports, “There has not been a live stream for a keynote address for a while now, which has saddened loyal Apple fans around the world, although there will still be streaming replays available afterwards as per the usual protocol these days. There are, however, always a number of sites that attempt to give live coverage via the web from the keynote itself (many of which often crash and burn in an ugly, firey server death at keynote time).”
