A reminder: Apple has announced a very special one-day shopping event will take place on Black Friday, November 25th. Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States. Although other days that are known as “black” days are generally bad, this is a good black day in terms of profits – when the bottom line goes into “the black.” It marks the start of the extremely profitable Christmas shopping season. Apple’s online store and retail stores will participate in “The Feast After the Feast” Black Friday special one-day shopping event.
Specific deals will not be known until the day of the event, but on Black Friday last year, Apple reportedly increased sales approximately four times the amount of a normal Friday as they offered special one-day only discounts on iPods, Mac models, AirPort Express, monitors, digital cameras and more. A list of the deals offered at the Apple Store last year is here.
