Chairman Lawrence Ellison, who resigned from Apple Computer Inc.’s (AAPL) board of directors in September, exercised options and acquired 70,000 shares of the computer maker, a regulatory filing on Friday said. The options were exercised on Nov. 18 and he acquired 60,000 common shares for $11.50 each and 10,000 shares for $13.99 each, the Securities and Exchange Commission filing said.
