Steve Jobs trouncing Steve Ballmer in Forbes CEO performance survey

Apple CEO Steve Jobs is still being rated on performance (monthly) in Forbes.com’s CEO Approval Ratings survey. And the poll has been safeguarded since the vote rigging fiasco in July.

Forbes lets visitors vote on CEOs’ job performance with the question, “Do you think (CEO name) is doing a good job as CEO of (Company name)?” with a thumbs up or thumbs down radio button. Among the other company heads being evaluated in the technology division are Steve Ballmer of Microsoft, John Chambers of Cisco Systems, Larry Ellison of Oracle, and Carly Fiorina of Hewlett-Packard.

Currently, Steve Jobs has 90% “yes,” and 10% “no.” In comparison, Ballmer has 8% “yes,” and 92% “no.” Quite an interesting contrast.

  1. Do I think Bomber is doing a good job as CEO of Microsoft?

Well. Could there be a human more qualified than Bomber – other than NerdThug – to be CEO…of Microsoft?

His personality is in the DNA of M$.

  2. Do I think ‘The Steve’ is doing a good job as CEO of Apple Computer?

Well, ‘The Steve’ is no John Sculley.

    John S:

Sure Bill, you can have the keys to my house if you’re gonna make furniture for it. I guess.

No Mr. Atkinson, we won’t be pushing your little ‘HyperCard’ thingee.

Hey! I know the handwriting recognition doesn’t work. So kill HyperCard, and make my gizmo work!

  3. Jobs is not only the highest ranked CEO in Technology category but the highest ranked CEO of any category on the Forbes site. Ballmer on the other hand is the second lowest of all the categories (courtesy of Verisign’s Sclavos). Hmmmm . . . . Keep churning that killer OS Ballmer!

  4. The vote is rigged. Jobs? What has he done lately? Microsoft is the most innovative company in the world. Doesn’t anybody see the innovatively futuristic OS in Longhorn? How come I don’t see Michael Dell as a candidate. He just launched an innovative, revolutionary music download service and an innovative breakthrough in digital player! I MUST vote for him. I NEED to vote for him. I demand a recount and this time, not even the Supreme Court can help Jobs!

  5. LOL – I do pray Nobody you’re joking! I was having a hard time telling wether you were being serious or sarcastic. Jobs has done so much lately. New 64 bit processors. Awesome OS. New iTunes Music Store (iTMS) – which, by the way, your precious Dell just ripped off. Jobs invinted the iPod, a revolutionary MP3 player – which, by the way, your precious Dell just ripped off. Microsoft…innovative. Wow. Do I *really* need to comment on that? Well, I will say, that these new virus’ have been pretty ingenious.

  6. Sorry, I guess you never read my other post. Notice how many times I use the word “innovative”. I was having fun with that word which has been corrupted beyond belief by the media and the likes of Microsoft and Dell.

It is much like the word “terrorist” these days. All infidels are terrorists too according to some people who are against freedom and peace. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />
