Since May 5, when “Silo” debuted, joining “Ted Lasso,” “The Last Thing He Told Me” and recent hot new comedy release, “Shrinking,” on the platform, weekly Apple TV+ viewership has jumped by +147% year over year.
Sci-fi thriller “Silo” debuted as the #1 drama in the history of Apple TV+, per Nielsen premiere weekend data, and its viewership has grown by double digits since. Also according to Nielsen ratings, viewership for “Ted Lasso” Season 3 premiere weekend skyrocketed +180% season over season as the hit comedy stands as the #1 title on the streaming service. Parrot Analytics ranked “Ted Lasso” Season 3 as the #1 comedy in the world based on consumer demand.
“The Last Thing He Told Me,” starring Jennifer Garner ranks as the #1 limited series ever on Apple TV+, based on Nielsen’s ratings.

I definitely like watching Silo for the suspense and I’m anxiously waiting for the return of Foundation, season 2.
AppleTV+ certainly doesn’t have nearly the amount of content of other services, but it does have some very quality content.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Physical and Shmigadoon. Waiting for next seasons of Severance and Slow Horses.
$10 billion in content just to sell a few Apple TV devices. Whatever.
Apple is trying as hard as possible to get each of those device owners to sign up for subscriptions. It’s up to the consumer if he wants to blow his money on stuff like that but obviously Apple has hooked a lot of people with too much disposable income and not enough self drive to do something useful with their free time. Short of cash as he always is, Firstwhatever zombie will have to make due watching his personal VHS collection of Celebrity Apprentice, and Goeb can only afford rabbit ears for his old CRT set. So Apple can’t reach everyone.
