Apple today released iOS 14.8 for iPhone and iPod touch and iPadOS 14.8 for iPad, iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro which Apples says provide important security updates.

Impact: Processing a maliciously crafted PDF may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.
Description: An integer overflow was addressed with improved input validation.

I’m with MDN on this one and that’s because I now have zero trust in Apple. What a lousy state of affairs Apple has got themselves into and we all know who to blame.
But Apple devices can get viruses 🤣🤣🤣 That ol’fanboy argument has never been true, well perhaps if you are deluded Apple follower.
Apple seems to be pushing this update more than usual! Is something hidden within the update? I’ll be waiting as MDN suggested.
