Apple today released Safari Technology Preview 126, the experimental browser designed to test features that are candidates to be introduced into future release versions of Safari.
The current Safari Technology Preview release is built on the new Safari 15 update included in macOS Monterey, and as such, it includes several Safari 15 features. There’s a new streamlined tab bar with support for Tab Groups to organize tabs, along with improved support for Safari Web Extensions.
Live Text allows users to select and interact with text in images on the web, but the macOS Monterey beta and an M1 Mac is required. There’s also Quick Notes support for adding links and Safari highlights to remember important information and ideas.

Good luck, as Safari becomes less and less compatible with the world every day; I detest Google and object to having to use Google Chrome, but every day there are more and more forms in government and education that just can’t be completed in Safari.
Just this morning I spent an hour filling out a form regarding an insurance claim and found out that there were dialogue boxes that simply cannot be filled out no matter what you do. Redid it in Chrome, and it worked. The most infuriating thing is that it may be a form with 100 dialogue boxes and there are 2 or 3 dialogue boxes that invalidate an hours work! With most forms I will just start with Chrome and not try to fight it. And in the school system where I work, I don’t even attempt Safari except for things that I already know will work, but not to edit a piece produced on Chrome by someone else.
I won’t change to Windows, although streaming of live video definitely works better, no “spinning wheel of death” even given the overhead of of running Windows on top of Parallels, no issues there at all. Streaming live high school baseball games, no on Safari, delays of several minutes at times
