Does anyone have an idea how Apple’s enterprise deployment compares with Windows devices enterprise deployment? Are we talking Apple’s 5% to Microsoft Windows devices 95%? I’m just curious. I never hear any analysts talking about Apple having any strength in the enterprise. I’ve tried to find out more about Apple in the enterprise, but there isn’t that much info or I’m looking in the wrong places. I’m guessing Apple device penetration in the enterprise must be very small or there would be more talk about it. When RIM’s BlackBerry was around, there was just constant talk of how the BlackBerry (phone) ruled the enterprise. Not so much talk about the iPhone or any Apple device ruling the enterprise.
What I find quite amusing is that there are plenty of U.S. government workers who are being issued flagship Samsung smartphones and that really puzzles me. Apparently, iPhones aren’t good enough for the U.S. government. Haha.
I’m not sufficiently knowledgeable in tech to answer this question, but any chance the Ruskies could plant malware in Jamf software and infect millions of iOS devices with secret backdoor software, like they did to Solar Wind?
