Apple this week announced Apple One, the easiest way to get all of Apple’s subscription services in one simple plan, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and iCloud. With a single subscription, customers in over 100 countries and regions can enjoy their favorite Apple services across their favorite devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, and Mac.
Apple has confirmed that the Apple One plans will work with users who have multiple Apple IDs.
For those users who have two Apple IDs, often split between iCloud services and one for purchases/subscriptions (caused by the fact that iTunes Store accounts and Apple’s various cloud service accounts were originally separate), this could come in quite handy.

Although Apple allows users to use both accounts on their devices with various workarounds, the problem has never been fully addressed and Apple does not allow users to consolidate multiple accounts.

It is unclear if this will involve any new consolidation of accounts, but the news will placate many users who were concerned about being excluded from Apple One.

I am very excited for this service. I already have a family music plan and 2TB of cloud storage. Upgrading to Premier is going to be a no brainer. Only thing that sucks about this is that I can’t sign up for it today!
How do I find out if I have 2 apple IDs?
If you have two you already know. I use the personal email address that I had in 2002 for my iTunes etc purchases, but I use an @me.com handle for everything else iCloud. Now since I’m married to my wife and we have two kids on our account in a neat nuclear family the family plan is an easy choice.
But if I were single and had the two account dilemma would I have to chose the family account or would it work with the individual plan? That’s the question not answered by the tweet above.
I have 4 people in my Family. If I sign up for Apple One Family, does everyone in my family get 200GB of iCloud storage yielding a total of 800GB, or is it divided up amongst us not to exceed 200GB total?

Well, off on a tangent again and can’t help it.. I knew this would be the case and stated as much.. Apple doesn’t care about it users it cares about making MORE money.. These service options should have been selectable.. Pick what YOU want.. Here we go with “One” and you must get News+ and Arcade.. Force services NOBODY wants or very few.. AppleOne individual plan is useless as it stands.. If Apple wanted to delight customers they’d have provided options for bundles.. Frustratingly Tim Cook strikes again..
Don’t take the Premier plan if you don’t want all of the services!
And what are the plans in the majority of the 100 countries where one or more of these services are not available? Not being able so select what I want or need sucks big time
