    1. It doesn’t matter. Contact tracing (Exposure Notification), like face masks, is mainly a pacifier, a security blanket to make people feel “safe” as they work, play, and – dare I say it? – LIVE.

      1. Nonsense. Because of your and Diaper Donald’s lack of scientific comprehension, apx 185,00 Americans no longer, as you said, “LIVE”. Get a clue. Masks help. Contact tracing helps. Staying at home helps. While these Republicans generally don’t help anyone but themselves.

        1. You really flipped on me Rob, clever. And you’re also saying you don’t care that a lot more Americans are dying (proportionally to other countries) because of poor leadership. If you don’t care about people, then it speaks volumes about you and your opinion.

      2. Please look at the numbers. A quick Google search is all you need to do. Let us look at total number of deaths – that way, we do not need to get into an argument about whether all the testing that the US does is responsible for our inflated numbers.

I took a look at the numbers for one day – August 25

Depending on which countries you include, Western Europe had a grand total of 100-120 Covid-19 deaths. The United States had 1136 deaths on the same day – more than 10 times as many. The countries I looked at had a combined population of 414 million, the US has 328 million.

Some of these countries (particularly Italy and Spain) were far worse off than the US in the early days of the pandemic. How have they been so successful? What have they done that we have not? They do not have access to any special treatment or vaccine that we do not. Frankly, the only reason I can think of is that have done a better job implementing measures such as strict lockdowns, social distancing, mask wearing and contact tracing. No other explanation comes to mind.
