I haven’t really seen anything on AppleTV that appeals to me. Everything looks too dry and self-important.
Compare the quality of work of Pixar in the early days vs AppleTV today. 20 years from now Pixar’s early work will shine bright and I dare say nothing in AppleTV’s current catalog will be viewable. Most everything on AppleTV is boring and tired. Timeless story telling has been replaced with virtue signaling. I can only imagine the political correct algorithm that checks every creative decision in the AppleTV pipeline
Its times like this that Steve Jobs is sorely missed.I admit Tim and co. do a great job keeping the factories going, growing the stock price and repeating the script that SJ wrote 20 years ago but the moment creativity is needed then the truth is obvious; Elvis has left the building 🙂
