  1. Premium price, shoddy quality. Certainly not the Apple Steve Jobs built.

When a clueless profit chaser beancounter CEO is in charge, it is what it is.

That said, unlike the months long denial of several products decline in quality under Cook, butterfly keyboard to name one, for a refreshing change Apple is making good right out of the gate… 👍🏻

    1. Typical of you GoeB. You find an instance in which an Apple product has an identified flaw and inflate that into a diatribe against Apple and Cook as a whole, along with a little homage to Steve Jobs to make it seem sincere.

Of course, no Apple product ever had any flaws under Steve Jobs’ leadership. (dripping /s)

As you at least grudgingly note, Apple is correcting the issue rapidly and appropriately. In my opinion, that is incredibly important to Apple’s brand. Always seek perfection while also acknowledging that perfection is not truly possible and ensuring that you support your customers when their experience falls short of lofty expectations. The great customer experiences spread by word of mouth. The poor customer experiences spread by every means possible, including the internet.

      1. Very clever sarcastic response, KingMe. I will quickly dispel your made up dispersions.

To set the record straight: I had no intention of an overall negative “diatribe” of Apple. Quite the contrary, I have been an Apple owner PRO since the early 1980s and LOVE the company that supports my livelihood. It’s called “constructive criticism”, obviously, you need to look it up.

I do take issue with talentless beancounter CEOs that place profit over quality. Then drag the company and all its employees into SJW politics totally ignoring Steve’s mantra to stay clear, bad for business.

Never said Steve did not experience quality issues, your pointless dripping sarcasm mocking is totally inaccurate. What I am pointing out under Cook poor quality has multiplied like rabbits, you know it, but won’t admit it.

“As you at least grudgingly note, Apple is correcting the issue rapidly and appropriately.”

“grudgingly” says KingMe? “At least” I am tolerating a person that falsely mocks and misrepresents my post because he can’t handle the truth…

  2. Intermittent, for sure. Got this thing in June and it started probably right around the 90 day warranty end. Bing, bing, charging, not charging, seen by the phone, not seen by the phone. Sometimes 2, 3, 4, 5 times in a row. Royal PITA. A couple slips of paper between the case and phone tightens the connection and improves the connection, but it still happens in my pocket. And sometimes just sitting on the nightstand.

The real bummer here is that it’s supposed to be “smart” but this case has sucked my maximum battery capacity on the phone down to 91% whereas the other phones bought at the same time without cases are still 98%. Apple should throw in a free battery replacement with the new case.
