  1. This sucks. Looks like a collection of midwest mom’s telling you about technology. The TV App presentation is beyond pathetic for the worlds richest country. Time for Tim to Go.

    1. I’ve been a Mac user since 1988. I have never owned non-Apple hardware and never run Windows. Yet now I am seriously looking at Linux (or even Haiku). Tim Cook made it clear a couple of years ago that his focus is on mobile and he doesn’t understand why anyone would want a laptop or desktop. I am a desktop and laptop user and I could care less about iOS. That means Apple is moving away from me rapidly.

So I am seriously looking into Linux.

  2. It seems as though they’re using canned applause tracks. It doesn’t seem natural, at all. I’m skipping the live event and I’ll just watch the highlights at a later time. Although the audience is going crazy about everything, I’m sure the critics will tear most of it apart as being boring or copying Android OS. I’m still quite certain most businesses will prefer Microsoft’s idea of one Windows OS that runs on everything instead of Apple’s multiple OSes. We’ll see. Windows will definitely remain the dominant desktop OS and Apple’s MacOS will never put a dent in it.

  3. Note to Tim Cook. Since you don’t personally own Apple. How about not hosting Presidential candidate campaign fund raisers in the future. You screw shareholders.

  4. “Pride Edition watch bands by Apple…Cycle Tracking app for women’s menstrual cycles”

This is LAME. Not that I am against Apple offering these things, who cares. But when you’re highlighting them on the first day of the once a year event where Apple has traditionally wowed the world with their new inventions, it shows you have NOTHING. Tim Cook was a horrible replacement for Steve Jobs. His main strategy is play it safe and he is obviously not an innovative thinker. They should let Elon Musk take over. He is nuts but it would be better than Tim Cook.

  5. I can use the decibal complication to know when the ambient volume is damaging. I prefer dark text over a light background. Maps is super handsome and non-trackable.

    1. It is scary how just reading the text you gave no need to know its Cook it’s just damn obvious by the repetitive nature of his monologue. If I hear ‘we love the Mac’ one more time, actions speak louder than words matey.

  6. Investors are not happy with Tim Cook as just as he began speaking the positive day turned negative with heavy selling.

AAPL stock has been dropping for weeks and Tim Cook has done nothing today to stop that.

  7. I hate to say this Hate it. But Dell will outperform Apple in stock performance in the next 5 years. Watch it. Sad Sad Sad. But parade Midwest house wives and middle age dads for the richest county in the world. That is what you get. Note to Tim Cook. You don’t own Apple. BOD. Fire Tim Cook

      1. “Don’t get too excited. They haven’t said how much it costs yet.”

Cost is relative. If you need the power cost is secondary. If you don’t need the power no price will be low enough.

  8. Incredible WWDC. Nearly everything I dared ask for down to some tiny stuff that I didn’t think they’d ever do like dual AppleID on iPad.

The new MacPro is stunning. Creative Pros should be happy.

  9. WOW….shares of Apple are being hammered hard by investors. -$2.75 and falling in extremely heavy trading. All morning Apple was up nicely but once Tim Cook spoke, investors fled like scalded cats.

  10. “Hey Tim – wow, that new Mac Pro and Display are really really great, great job. FINALLY – a keynote that many less people will complain about”

Tim Cook: “Hold my beer – let’s charge $1000 for a freaking monitor stand”
