    1. Mojave 10.14.3 is running fine on my 2012 MacBook Pro and I plan to upgrade to 10.14.5. (Held off on the 10.14.4 upgrade because of reported mail bugs.)

  1. New operating systems now go on my shit list once they start breaking things or fail to offer up a compelling reason to upgrade. I now stay purposefully at least 2 years behind to maintain system integrity and my sanity. The days of immediately installing the latest and greatest are long gone. Especially if you’re doing any pro work. For those with simpler needs – upgrade away!

    1. Ho condescending of you and you are running software 2 years behind and claim to be a Pro? software gets better which is why Pro’s work better with the extra ability afforded in such upgrades. I appreciate the work Pro could be attributed to a wooden spoon whittlers that your Pro credentials? because there is no need to assume other professionals that use the latest computers for music and design and science software are lees than you because you can still use a 2 year old system for what ever it is you can do professionally on such a system. 😉

    2. Honest To God, I’ve been running Mojave on a Maxed out Mid-2012 MacBook Pro (16gb Ram + Samsung Pro SSD) with Adobe Creative Cloud 2018 plus some 2019 versions with NO problems. Also Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, MainStage, FileMaker Pro Advanced, ScreenFlow, Sketch & More. The only problems were not with Mojave but with outdated Apps I was using. And yes I’m a Professional too and would tell my clients not to upgrade if there were even minor glitches. Mojave is right up there with Mountain Lion as Best Mac OS ever!

      1. Almost same configuration, I am a prepress dinosaur. Mojave works great, I mainly use Adobe CC2019. 2012 macbook pros are the last models with upgradable ram, no plans to upgrade in the near future.

  3. Why no multi-room playback for Airplay 2 on a Macbook Pro running 10.14.5 except when using iTunes?

Surely if it is enabled on iTunes then it should be possible when playing any system sound audio output too. Great to have it on the iPad and iPhone but disappointing the Mac is left behind.
