“Apple purchased Beddit in May 2017,” Evans writes. “As yet we still don’t have sleep tracking in Apple Watch so the question is if two years later the company is ready to deploy the new tech or if this is for 2020.”
“Everyone wants Apple to introduce a watch face store,” Evans writes. “No one understands why it hasn’t. Perhaps this year?”

Use the dadgum bands for enhanced functionality. Ie charging, more add-on detectors, extra battery
Always seemed like a lost opportunity not to do that despite expectations to the contrary for so long now. Seems like an opportunity akin to the Air buds to me if done right.
Honestly my biggest requests would just be simple software tweaks. Let me choose to display the time full time. And let me switch the cool watch faces to show the digital time instead of analog.

I’m not certain about the value of the Beddit in sleep tracking. There is a huge difference between Restless Leg Syndrome and Obstructive Sleep Apnea, with OSA being the most serious. Providing SpO2 (Oxygen legals in the blood) information could be more important, especially since Pulse can take some big drops when you are sleeping. A full overnight reading of Oxygen levels is an important indicator of the need for using Oxygen overnight. A simple clip on the finger with data flowing through the watch to the iPhone, As an Old Guy I can tell you that the VA tested me using a device targeted for just that and as a result they sent me a concentrator for overnight use. This is the type of advancements needed for the Watch Heath Initiative.
