I started doing some research and I learned that actually it’s already possible, if you have right accessibility hardware like special joysticks and motors, to have some kind of cursor on iOS. This is already possible and has been possible for years. MacDailyNews Take: That sounds like something that a lot of “Pro” iPad users would turn on immediately. Having cursor support already in iOS apps would also make sense for improving Marzipan apps as they transition to Mac.
Yes – please!!!!! I use a keyboard with my iPad Pro on a stand for ergonomic use but still get neck and shoulder aches from “gorilla arm” to touch the screen. I hope that you can use the Apple Mouse with it – I would be surprised if a corded USB-C mouse would be required.
I might use my iPad more than 30 minutes per year.
For the life of me why have they been so against it for so long. Most of the time I would never need it but for some, at least some of the time it would be a great asset. Sadly now it just looks like a late acceptance by Apple of the obvious when in reality their prejudice was more about selling us both Macs and iPads rather than one more flexible device. Just add it the Pro version if necessary and give people a reason to pay more in compensation.
I wrote to Steve Jobs about this when he was still with us, never got a response though. Would be so cool if true! But wireless too, please.
