Apple has debuted a new ad for iPhone XR titled “Color Flood” in which thousands of colorfully jumpsuited people run about a dystopian urban landscape.
Make room for color. See the all-screen Liquid Retina display on iPhone XR with the best battery life in an iPhone. And for a limited time, get an iPhone XR from $599 when you trade in your smartphone. — Apple Inc.
The song is “Come Along” by Cosmo Sheldrake.

MacDailyNews Take: Uh, okay. The meh is strong with this one.
Time to pull this tune out of the vault and let it work its magic again:
Wonder how many injuries were incurred during that ad, some of those jumps seemed poorly timed..
At 0:35 the mob smashes down a gate and runs over it.
Colorful vandals.
I’m keeping my well-behaved iPhone SE for another year.
Meh….
Not much impact imo.
I bought the new iPhone XR.. I compared them all at the Apple store and the XR is far the best deal for the money.. Its all about what’s important to you.. the camera is fab !!!! The speed is the same as XS.. the screen is almost as big as XS Max… The battery life and charging times are excellent !! I bought an Apple Watch 4 at the same time.. I paid about the same as an XS Max but got a phone and watch for about the same price.. The portrait mode is wow !! I am not a professional photographer but the pictures this XR takes has everyone GAGA!! The watch 4 was a big bonus for the savings!
Typical scene at the beginning of lunch break where I work.
Normally I am very product oriented in what I see in ads, but this one caught my eye and held it.
Did it increase my desire to buy the product? No, that seldom happens in any ad.
The Stones song is currently being used in two other commercial campaigns for other types of products. It’s overused, and wouldn’t work again for Apple.
PLEASE email me and tell how and where TV ad was made. Most exciting ad in years!
I’d like to know as well. Post to FB if you find out
