I agree. For the first time, I run the Coherence mode which is a bit jarring to see Windows apps on a Mac, takes a bit of getting accustomed to.
Do I like having to use Windows, but as web developer for the last 15 years, I would be kidding myself if I didnt test on Windows browsers.
Parallels has been THE goto Windows app for a long time and glad to see it getting better.
In business there is almost no way to easily deal with Win-only apps-files without Parallels, unless you like to lug a 2nd laptop around.
Only flaw to date with Parallels has been anti-piracy methods used by some apps with their serial #s that stop working in Parallels. I understand it but don’t like it. But then there is Boot Camp for those Apps.
Tried out the latest version but the cost is just not worth it for the limited needs I have to run Windows.
VirtualBox is less polished but it is free and would suit most casual Windows users.
