Tony Sackanuttin pick up the white courtesy telephone for a message!!! LOL!!!
$250 tariff on iPhones ought to provide the incentive to manufacture them in the U.S.
All that protectionnism will finally crash the system.
The world will end up turning without bothering about the USA.
Gary,
No, the Administration will just announce some sort of subsidy for Americans who want to buy iPhones. That would be no more peculiar than for a Republican President with a Republican Congress to announce massive government subsidies for US farmers hit by their own “easy to win” trade war. If I was cynical, I might see that as a way to buy mid-term votes in red states, using public money collected largely from taxpayers in blue states. Perhaps Mr. Putin told our Leader how the KGB used to bill the families of political prisoners for the bullets used to shoot them.
More Foxconn workers means more suicide netting will have to be installed. Hopefully, that won’t impact unit costs negatively.
