WWDC 2018 dates possibly June 4-8 at McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California

“Apple has yet to announce dates for the 2018 edition of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, but there’s evidence to suggest the event may take place between Monday, June 4 and Friday, June 8 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, the same venue where WWDC 2017 was hosted,” Joe Rossignol reports for MacRumors.

“First, we’ve heard from a reliable source who says WWDC will in fact return to the McEnery Convention Center for the second consecutive year, after having been hosted at the Moscone Center in San Francisco between 2003 and 2016,” Rossignol reports. “Next, we’ve discovered that the McEnery Convention Center is already booked with other events during the second, third, and fourth weeks of this June, leaving the first full week of the month as the only available window for WWDC 2018, barring the rare possibility that Apple shares the space with other events simultaneously.”

Rossignol reports, “We haven’t confirmed the dates with Apple, however, so it might be a good idea to wait for the company to officially announce WWDC 2018 details before booking accommodations.”

      1. You are such a pessimist.

I have it from reliable insiders that Ive and Angie Baby are trying to decide between rolling out a gold or pink Apple Pencil. After that bombshell, you will be blown away by the Project RED earpods. Don’t forget the new emoji too. Apple is working hard to replace all text with emoji so look forward to the preview of the FaceTime enabled Apple Watch IV, which has no buttons or ability to write or display text. It will be entirely voice and emoji based. Whoo hoo! What an exciting future!

One more thing. … Cook wants to remind you he couldn’t be more excited to unveil the Apple Karaoke Car. It doesn’t actually drive but the AutoPod acoustics are better than any carmaker has ever done. You won’t even want to go somewhere else. No other company could pull off this realistic immersive sound in a stationary car. Please buy more stock so Cook can retire early with billions.

      1. Me too. It will determine if I switch to the Dark Side (as I have been threatening for a while.) I think Apple must know they’ve used up all their good will on this and much more discerning eyes will judge and make sentence on anything less than the perfect Mac Pro. I am hopeful they’ve learned their lessons and will up their game. (Although in this case even being on par with PC Workstations would be more than acceptable.)
