Apple releases macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Apple today released macOS Sierra 10.12.6 which is recommended for all macOS Sierra users.

The macOS Sierra 10.12.6 Update improves the security, stability, and compatibility of your Mac, and is recommended for all users.

Enterprise content:
• Resolves an issue that prevents making certain SMB connections from the Finder.
• Fixes an issue that causes Xsan clients to unexpectedly restart when moving a file within a relation point on a Quantum StorNext File System.
• Improves the stability of Terminal app.

  1. A bit delayed, but Apple has posted for those of us who’ve been beta-testing 10.12.6:

    Please note: The released version (16G29) is later than the last seeded build (16G24b). Please go to the Mac App Store, click on the Updates button, select Reload Page (⌘-R) from the Store menu, and install the 16G29 update, as it contains critical fixes not in 16G24b.

    IOW: New final version.
