Apple CEO Cook, other tech CEOs to attend President Trump’s Jared Kushner-led summit

“Leaders from the largest technology companies are set to visit the White House later this month for an inaugural meeting of President Donald Trump’s group formed to modernize government services, according to three people familiar with the plans,” Mark Bergen and Brian Womack report for Bloomberg. “They will arrive weeks after many tech chiefs publicly split with Trump on his decision to exit the Paris climate deal.”

“The American Technology Council meeting will include a gathering of top executives followed by smaller sessions on particular topics, including those involving tech sales to government agencies, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing internal matters,” Bergen and Womack report. “The council is made up of government officials, such as the U.S. chief technology officer, and is led by Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser.”

“Eleven companies have been invited to participate in the June 19 summit, the people said,” Bergen and Womack report. “The list of planned attendees include Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook, Microsoft Corp. CEO Satya Nadella, Amazon.com Inc. CEO Jeff Bezos, Oracle Co-CEO Safra Catz and International Business Machines Corp. CEO Ginni Rometty, the people said. Alphabet Inc. plans to send Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt.”

    1. Weak, like all your arguments bot.

I got some more stories. Like the Mac introduction. Or how we rented a big screen TV to watch the super bowl just to see the Mac Commercial… live…. Steve liked that.

LOL… I’m so awesome, I was 5 cells down from Charles Manson and 10 cells down from Juan Corona one weekend…

        2. “I would suggest you get some mescaline or LSD. Weed is good but if you really want to open your mind, the psychotropics are the way to go.” – Citizen X

this statement from our resident ex-con explains a lot.

        3. You know. Most reasonable people value knowledge and experience. When it doesn’t interfere with their idol worship of false gods.

Check your reading comprehension. I did not serve time with Manson. I was in a cell down from him over the weekend. He really never got out of his cell then. Probably still doesn’t.

I was like, 18 and a half. Pretty cute too. No one ever messed with me. 6′ tall, 165 pounds and fresh faced.

Bot… never discount the voice of experience. It just shows your ignorance.

        4. Context bot.

See, as a conservative you should be announcing to all how proud you are of me that I overcame all my adversity and applying hard work and good old American Values rose to help create the most awesome computer store chain in the world.

Good old republican values. Pulled myself up by my bootstraps. Worked hard. Got promoted. Saw an opportunity. Succeded.

But no. You not worried that our values are the same. I’m Black. That’s all that matters.

      1. I thought someone revealed that botvinnik is not a paid russian troll as we had assumed, but actually a disgruntled immigrant from Oklahoma named Dean Clark who wants to destroy our way of life.

  1. Kushner is a good man. Hopefully, along with these tech CEOs, he can really make some good progress towards modernizing government services which desperately need it.

    1. I was worried about Kushner’s familial influence until OBP shitcanned the Paris Accord fraud.

“Nobody owns Donald Trump.” – Donald Trump

You can make a statement like that when you finance your own campaign, work your ass off taking your message directly to the American people, running over every RINO opponent and utterly destroying The Clot Crime Syndicate and do not owe any George Soros jackshït.

        1. getting testy bot. must have struck a nerve cause you know it’s true… inside you know but the hardest step is to admit you are weak and made a mistake.

You know that Manson and Juan Corona thing? The state did make ma a counselor for small groups. Certified. I’ll give you free counseling.

        2. Never met him. I dd smoke weed and take psychotropics with some bad ass nazi bikers. Some even had swastikas on their necks and chest. Funny thing. Get them in a group and it’s like a self fulfilling prophecy. All trying to outdo each other in the racism department. But when not in the group with the group think… In many ways, they are just people trying to get buy like the rest of us.

        3. bot you get keep gettin pwned left and right. still smarting from the delusional slur, I have more stories from my delusional megalomaniac mind.

Think Jobs pioneered the product reveal? Nope.

        4. No. Just stating my credibility. You said I was a delusional megalomaniac. Megalomaniac yes. Delusional…. no.

I can back up everything I say. Apple IIe was our first product reveal/introduction. January.

Apple store. We did that in our 83/84 reorganization. Even had a “genius” window in our service center.

        5. All post presenting my memories, past actions, experiences and opinions are my property and remain my intellectual property and I retain all rights under trademark, copyright and any other applicable licenses. I’m sure that might read funny but you all get my drift.

It was a cold and rainy night and the elderly couple opened the door of the computer shop, the bell jingling above. The salesman looked up from the till and smiled and said come on in. Let me help you with your umbrella.

The couple in their mid 70’s looked around apprehensively, the computer store strange with the counters covered with different machines. Cabinets full of circuit boards.

What can I help you with the salesman asked. (THIS SALESMAN IS ME IN CASE IT GOES OVER YOUR HEAD) Well the gentleman said, I’m Bob and this is my Emma. We’re retired and bored and heard about computers.

Great I said. Showed them around. Sold them and Apple II and a modem and The Source. Told them communications was the future.

A year later they were back. Thanking me for saving their marriage. They found a whole new world online. BBS’s. Chat rooms. Helping the grandkids with homework. Learning to program.

          True story. All rights reserved.

So geo, you thirteen year old twit. You think your opinion matters. As if you have one.

        6. It was supposed to read like a detective novel. You know. Marlow.

But it is a true story. The reason for the protection is that these memories are unique and unique to me. If I see the above as an ad for AOL in 3 weeks….

          get my drift?

Oh yeah. I learned the skill of “game show” showmanship selling computers retail with the Byte Shop. I swear to doG I did. Demoing Apples was a different skill set but demoing and Atari 800 was a show. From slapping down on the eject button to put in a new cartridge to pressing the joystick button to stop the “Attract Mode”.

You should have seen how far I could throw an AT&T answering machine handset when i was working for Sears. They were tough.

It’s all showmanship. Same with trump. But my stories are not lies. Cant say the same for trump.

        7. Mr. Kushner is not just a random presidential relative like Sam Houston Johnson, Billy Carter, or Maureen Reagan.

He is a U.S. Government employee generally considered to be one of the three top presidential advisors. If he has a conflict of interest due to his outside business connections, how can we be sure that his advice is unbiased and, therefore, how can we have confidence in the quality of presidential decisions that are based on that advice?

For example, there are the conversations Mr. Kushner had with the Russians allegedly concerning establishing a back channel for communications with the Kremlin that would be operated by the FSB (ex-KGB) station in the Russian Embassy but impervious to monitoring by U.S. security agencies.

The Russians have claimed that Kushner’s discussions with the FSB-connected bank were not about government issues, but about business opportunities in Russia and/or Russian financing for The Kushner Company. If a presidential adviser was mixing his personal business with the country’s business, that is about as big a conflict as can be imagined.

If George Soros is actually the Nazi demon that you have argued he is, the fact that one of the top troika of presidential advisers owes him $250 million is hardly “deflection.” Again, it reflects the quality of advice that our President is using to reach his decisions.

        8. TXuser is a FAKE and tedious FRAUD. He has claimed in the past to be a “straight white married conservative.” Yeah, right.

Keep reading his Democrat dominated support posts and the evidence is crystal clear.

Like most Democrat plants pandering to the lowest common denominator for votes, his DNC mission is obvious.

Just another despicable, deceitful, dishonest DEMOCRAP …

        9. Good to see the FAKE conservative out consistently dishing dirt on fellow conservatives. Never an atomic particle of criticism EVER directed toward Democrats. Nowhere to be found post after post. DNC MDN plant. You’re pathetic and the jig is up …

        10. I try pretty hard not to react to people on this site expressing their opinions. People are entitled to their own opinions.

I do tend to react when people assert “facts” that are not actually the case. People are not entitled to their own facts.

When I react, I try to stick to readily verifiable facts. I will admit that I sometimes drift over into opinion when the “alternative fact” that provoked me is particularly egregious.

I expect my evidence about facts to be countered with evidence that shows me factually wrong. botvinnik and GeoB have never, ever, done that. They simply reassert their falsehoods without providing any evidence for them and move immediately to personal insults. Frankly, I find that un-American.

I certainly have never posted that these two are not actually patriotic Americans they claim to be, but actually Russian agents. I recognize that people I disagree with may still be fellow conservatives and Republicans who simply put more weight on party loyalty than on loyalty to free enterprise and the U.S. Constitution.

Debating on facts and not personalities is what civilized people do. You use facts if you have them. If you don’t use them, it makes a pretty good case that you don’t have them.

    2. Just felate him 0/2014. You are not a syncophant..

      just a:

yes-man, bootlicker, brown-noser, toady, lickspittle, flatterer, flunky, lackey, spaniel, doormat, stooge, cringer, suck, suck-up, cuckold.

    3. Kushner is a spoiled brat who took over a billion dollars of his family’s money and wasted it on a failed investment because he liked a big shiny building in NYC. He got so deep into debt that no American banks would loan him money, so he tried the Chinese, who also told him to get lost. Turns out he got loans from the Russians. I can’t imagine that Russia would want any political favors in return for taking on debt that will almost assuredly never get repaid….

      1. Of course not. We have it on the highest authority that any threat that Russia might pose to America is fake news. They are bailing out the Kushner Companies, several Trump associates, and possibly Trump Enterprises itself out of the goodness of their hearts, expecting nothing in return.

That’s why it is such a good idea for the White House to communicate with the Russian authorities using FSB facilities that nobody in the American government can monitor. Clearly, the Russians (who, the President assures us, didn’t try to influence our elections) wouldn’t use a private channel directly into the White House for any purpose that does not selflessly serve American interests.

Seriously, though, I am more worried about the “Wag the Dog” scenario unfolding in the Middle East at the moment. Our President seems to be doing everything in his power to whip Qatar into line with the other Gulf autocracies, humiliating his own Secretary of State in the process. It is ludicrous to suggest that Qatar and its citizens have provided more funding for terrorism than the Saudis.

It is even less reasonable to ignore the role of the official Saudi religious leadership in spreading their Salafi ideology around the world. Essentially every terror assault against the West in the last half-century has been directly inspired by the Wahhabi extremism that has been the Saudi stock in trade since the 18th century. Iran and the Shiites have played no significant role in terrorism (except within the Middle East itself), no matter what our President might claim.

The Wahhabi leadership has been appealing directly to their adherents within Qatar (almost half the citizen population) seeking a regime change that would solidify Saudi control over most of the Gulf’s energy reserves (the UAE is already playing the Saudi game to preserve its own independence). When Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, the West went to war because we could not tolerate the concentration of so much petroleum in hostile hands. In 2017, we seem to be encouraging the Saudis in acquiring an even greater share of the world’s resources that they can use to finance the spread of Salifism.

Of course, a new Gulf War would distract the American people from their unhealthy preoccupation with our great friends in Russia. The Saudi leadership, like Putin, provides another perfect model for someone who aspires to misogynistic authoritarian rule.

Finally, the American government acknowledged today that we have committed military assets (aircraft and special ops forces) to support President Duterte of the Philippines. You know, the guy who has sponsored thousands of extrajudicial killings and admitted to personally killing alleged drug dealers. The same one that our President congratulated for his war on drugs and whose efforts to suppress Muslim dissent sparked a revolt. Another good man for us to go to war for.

        1. Was looking at two lists, the other one is best places to visit. you are not even on it.

enjoy it I guess. Trump is surely going to let that rating slip, like all his other ratings.

  2. I hope this is successful.

Keep The Trump away for maximum truth, accuracy, accurateness, correctness, exactness, precision, preciseness, realism, authenticity, faithfulness, fidelity; reputability, honesty, sincerity, trustworthiness, reliability, dependability, scrupulousness, ethics, morality, righteousness, virtuousness, decency, goodness, probity.

    1. Oh god. You got yourself a thesaurus over there Derek? How about a therapist. I will reinstate that you are not smarter then the rest of us here. Stop it.

      1. Clearly, your obsession indicates your being enamored of me. But your love will remain unrequited as I do not share your personal S&M problems. You shall forever remain in my mind as ‘baby’. Baby anonymous coward. If you change your mind and decide to leave your glum little Never Never Land, be sure to let me know, IN PERSON as yourself. Until then, go change your own diapers, baby.

      2. Wow. Another anonymous coward comes out of nowhere to try to be meaningful. LOL. Pathetic. You know how pathetic bot and 2014 lives were before becoming surgically attached to the sphinchter of tRump? They were so pathetic they let a con man, liar, racist, misogynist, failed businessman rescued by the bankruptcy laws, sexual predator convince them that he could be a good president.

Do you believe that. They fell hook, line and sinker for his scat.. lapping it up and smiling, scat eating grins about it.

        go home fake nerd.

        1. You mean they let Bill Clinton convince them he could be President? Now I’m confused. I thought they were for Trump.

        2. doG… at least try. How pathetic and stupid is your comment? I know. Another anonymous coward, sitting there, tiny tRump in hand, pleasuring himself… thinking he (it) has accomplished something.

        1. Ding, ding, ding.. winner, winner, chicken dinner. Who would have thought that the hysteria over a Black Man daring to do a GREAT job as President, would cause so many supposedly sane people to throw away all of their principles and follow a clown. A sexual predator clown at that.

Let’s ask the Worm Ouroboros. Ouroboros, why would so many seemingly good people support the deeply flawed tRump for president. Why would Christians throw away all of the their morals, values, beliefs and support him?

          Says the worm…. RACISM… sheesh.. it’s obvious.

      1. Actually not in prison. over 30 years of qualified experience in just this sort of thing.

By the way. Proven in the computer business.

I know you hate the thought of a successful Black Man like President Obama and I.

        1. except you’re just a race-baiting huckster, you forgot that part. Ben Carson is an example of a successful black American.

You are an example of shït.

      2. Speaking of. Just got back from the medicine store. Got a gummy that last 2 times made me feel like 4th grade me. You said I was a megalomaniac. You should have seen me then. A veritable legend in my own mind. Not anything external mind you, just state of mind. I was walking on sunshine in Linda Vista California. A veritable big city Mayberry.

The first shopping center in the world was there. Eleanor Roosevelt dedicated it.

Anyway, it struck me that you will define everything I say from now on through my prison experience. That just makes you shallow so I’ve heard all the snide comments already.

Anyway…. got some laundry to do.

        1. “One of the earliest public shopping centers is Trajan’s Market in Rome located in Trajan’s Forum. Trajan’s Market was probably built around 100-110 AD by Apollodorus of Damascus, and it is thought to be the world’s oldest shopping center – a forerunner of today’s shopping mall.”

          wrong again, doper.

  3. It’s a good idea, but with Trump things often end up being more for show than any real progress or substance. It’s Trump’s nature: he’s a con man, more concerned about image than substance.

As for Kushner, he seems decent, but he’s in way over his head, doesn’t know much about anything that he’s tasked with, and Trump has basically appointed him secretary of everything. Of course, he also has the Russia scandal looming over his head, as it appears that Russia may be involved in financing his family’s business, and even saving them from a big loss.

Bottom line: if Trump were real about listening to the tech companies, he wouldn’t have pulled out of the Paris accord.

    1. What more do you expect for a clown. Should they listen to the idiot. Foreign policy by deceit and twitter? Tech policy by, and get this, untrustworthy computers. You remember he said he didn’t like em. Didn’t trust em. Trusted paper (easier to shred which is why he wants it that way).

Yep.. tech policy from a creepy, sexual predator clown…. under the control of the russian banks and mafia.

As you type on that leftist device…. ponder this….

  4. Taylor Swift is a racist white supremacist she swallowed the KOKKK of Richard Spencer, Benoit Hamon and ANDREW ANGLIN and she voted for Adolf Trump TWICE. Taylor Swift the dfd RACIST also listens to the necro music SEWER 2154 from the fascist site the DAILYSTORMER!!! Google “Taylor Swift SEWER 2154” and SEE FOR YOURSELF! The songs talk about ejaculating in the pussy of 12 year old GIRLS!!! BOYCOTT TAYLOR SWIFT to fight FASCISM and HATE!
