Beware!! Just updated Safari to Safari 10. Now I can’t watch any video’s on YouTUBE.
What to do? Chrome? Rather not.
Enable Develop menu. Change user agent to iOS iPad…or…install Flash

Latest version of Safari, do not allow “Flash”, makes the world better.
FWIW, I finished the same update on my late 2012 13″ MBP. Having seen the above warning I opened YouTube in Safari Technology Preview and didn’t experience this issue. Didn’t get to Safari yet to see what happens.
Emoji can be 3X as large? My wife says that my emoji is big enough and it doesn’t need to be any bigger.

Is it Snappy?
Keep the reports coming all you quick adopters. Is it snappy? Is it safe? What does it break? How do you stop it from putting your stuff on icloud? Etc. Etc.
iCloud services are completely optional.
Completely optional, but Apple just like Microsoft never passes up an opportunity to try to trick users into thinking the cloud is necessary.
Just installed from latest El Capitan on 2015 mbp.
There will be a separate screen asking if you want your Desktop and Document folders stored in iCloud. The default will have a checkbox that is checked. Just uncheck it and hit Continue to keep those folders off of iCloud. After installation the iCloud Drive section in the iCloud option in System Preferences will have an option to turn this on/off.

Go to the App store and search for macOs Sierra. It should come up.
Apparently, Apple hasn’t gotten around to putting Sierra into either the ‘Updates’ OR ‘Purchased’ tabs. But if you go to the front page, aka ‘Featured’, Apple has Sierra right at the top of that page. Click and join the download queue (which at the moment is having a massive traffic jam, but I can wait all night!)
BTW: Apple suggest downloading OS updates via an Ethernet connection to your router, rather than Wi-Fi. I believe the point is to make sure you have an uninterrupted connection, which presumably is less likely via Wi-Fi.

One hour and 6 minutes away from a …new computer?
Nothing in the last three OS X iterations I can use due to aging 2009 and 2010 iMacs and older software that I still use everyday.
HIghest OS X versions I downloademand can effectively use is OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion and OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks.
I only started using OS X10.8.5 this past Jan. as all of my older and somewhat newer software run rock solid on it.
OS X 10.9.5 is problematic for some of my older software.
The only newer version of OS X that I downloaded and installed on my iMac is OS X 10.11.6 El Capitán that I have installed on an external hard drive.
Haven’t really used it.
I installed this for using updated iTunes for sync-ing my newer iDevices and that is really all I have used it for.
Won’t be downloading OS X Sierra for a long while.
Nothing in it for me to use.
Now I just need a new desktop Mac to use Sierra. iMacPro would be nice. 8 Core iMac with Pascal goodness sprinkled on top.
Zoom text only option has been removed in Safari 10. Bad bad bad. Apple keeps removing features in the MacOS UI that are useful, probably to make it more iOS-like. Really annoying.
Do you mean the Zoom under Accessibility in Keyboard System Prefs? I see it as just being toggled off. If that’s what you’re looking for.
Took 45 minutes to download on a 30 Mbps network and about 50 minutes to install on a late 2012 MBP with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD
Seems like screen effects in messages does not work on Sierra. Not sure if that was intended to work or not. Everything else (stickers, invisible ink) seems to work ok.
iChat Video in Messages is dead. Long live FaceTime!
No mention of VPN with PPTP not working here, I thought we were also business users, but I guess that is my mistake 🙁
Just installed MacOS Sierra on my oldest iMac.
A late 2009, 2.66 i5 with 16 Gb Ram. Although the installation went smoothly; I wanted to share to others that almost all the new MacOS features do not work. Siri sits quietly in the dock and will not actually run. However, roughly 97% of the software titles I use do run well. I would also like to add – that performance seems as good or equal to El Capitan 10.11.6. (Security alone, I feel its a good decision to install.) Yet if you are hoping to play with all the new toys you maybe disappointed.
