The iPad Pro might be Apple’s ‘Back to School’ dark horse

“iPhone and iPads are back on the list of qualifying devices for [Apple Inc.’s] Back to School promotion,” Carolina Milanesi writes for Tech.pinions.

“Students purchasing an iPhone 6 and 6s or an iPad Pro will get a pair of Beats Powerbeats 2 wireless headphones worth $200. Students investing in iMac, Mac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro will get a set of Beats Solo 2 wireless headphones worth $300,” Milanesi writes. “Apple also offers special financing with the Barclaycard Visa.”

“If the Beats headsets are not enough of an incentive for buyers, there were enough promotions for July 4th to make the existing MacBook Pro and Air worth looking at, as prices drop by as much as $300 across authorized resellers,” Milanesi writes. “I think the two iPad Pro models have a role to play for this year’s Back to school buyer.”

MacDailyNews Take: This just might finally be the year where iPad unit sales bottom out and resume growing!

  1. Apple Watch has just become so much more ubiquitous than I could have predicted – I think that’s going to be a back to school and quarterly earnings bonanza that the analysts don’ have baked into the very affordable AAPL price.

  2. Beats shit would not get me to buy anything. Those items may list for $200 & $300 but are hardly worth it.

The money would be better spent buying a good set of headphones- nothing with the Beats name attached. Beats look good attached to BOGO ScamSung TouchWiz stuff.
