Apple has announced that it will stream their WWDC 2016 keynote live on June 13th at 10am PDT.
The company is expected to unveil MacOS with Siri, iOS 10, and more at the event.
The live streaming will use Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology which requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a crappy Windows 10 PC with Microsoft Edge. Streaming via Apple TV requires an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) with software 6.2 or later or an Apple TV (4th generation).
On June 13th, the live stream will be here.
MacDailyNews Note: As usual, we will be covering WWDC with live notes. Look for the link to our live coverage on the MacDailyNews home page prior to the start of the event on June 13th.
I hope that this year’s streaming goes better than last year with Mandarin translation dialog for US viewers and intermittent breaks in audio transmission.
