Vogue and Apple: A love story

What a marriage.”

“This year’s benefit — taking place Monday, May 2nd — is co-chaired by Taylor Swift,” Fumo and Kwame Opam report. “There is nobody who would make a better ring bearer: Swift is the face of both Apple Music and Vogue’s March 2016 issue. Nothing is an accident.”

    Pretty sure this will be mutually destructive given time.
    This does nothing but cheapen Apple to the level of a fashion accessory … just like all the ‘Droid fans delightedly assert. There *was* a time when Apple became fashionable simply because it stood on its own as the best, but now it’s ass-backward and they seem to feel the need to cozy up to glitzy teeny bop stars. Way to go Tim!

  2. Conde Nast (Vogue, Wired, Ars Technica, Conde Nast Portfolio) has also been one of the worst anti-Apple propagandists. The Conde Nast business blog, Portfolio, was one of the ugliest anti-Apple blogs on the internet in the past. Conde Nast Digital is still very pro Microsoft, and they continue to work against Apple in less obvious ways.
