It’s official!
Apple today officially sent out invitations for a special media event to be held on March 21st.
Products expected include the 4-inch “iPhone SE,” a new 9.7-inch “iPad Pro” with Apple Pencial and Apple Smart keyboard support, and Apple Watch watchOS and bands updates.
Apple teases the event with the cryptic phrase “Let us loop you in,” will be held at Apple’s 1 Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino at 10am PT/1pm ET. The company will also stream the event live.
Requirements: Live streaming uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) with software 6.2 or later or an Apple TV (4th generation).

I definitely think the iPhone SE will be a device to put further pressure on the mid to low end market. This is how Apple push the competition out of the profit market share.
iPad 9.7″ Pro would be neat. Hopefully they will give it the full range of capabilities that the larger sibling.
Definitely could do with an update on the watch, especially giving apps like Nike running access to the heart rate monitor. At the moment, I use the Nike phone app to monitor the run itself and the Apple workout app to measure my heart rate. Works fine but MyFitnessPal for example will log 2 events as a result.
Let’s see, since the iPad Pro in name only was so popular, let’s give them an overpriced stylus and call the smaller one a “Pro” also!
Let’s also put out a smaller phone with all the used parts we have lying around, minus all the current features of course, but also charge a premium price for our efforts!
Tim Cook is abysmal as Apple’s CEO. He goes out of his way to turn our stomachs. Every product he puts out is a joke.
I would be excited for them to make the smaller iPad work with the pencil. If they could put in the 4 speakers that would be pretty sweet too, but i wouldn’t count on that. Why would you not want them to do this? i think you are letting the name get to you way too much…instead of looking at the name so much why don’t you just go in and try the pencil and then you might see why it would be awesome to have it on the 9.7 inch iPad as well. A lot of the professional market is so upset at apple recently, but I work in both the audio, video, and web design market and every update they have made has only made my work easier….sure I have to spend a bit more, but its gotten easier. As for the smaller phone comment; who cares if they put out a lower end phone if you wouldn’t buy that one anyway. It’s always been a phone for a certain market that sells quite well.
I just want / need a 13″ Macbook Air or even better 13″ Macbook with Thunderbolt III … Please PLEASE!
