“Apple on Tuesday released a beta version of its Apple Music service for Android users, just the third time the Cupertino company has crafted an application for its rival mobile operating system,” AppleInsider reports.
“Android users can now begin their three-month trial of Apple Music,” AppleInsider reports. “Music videos are not yet available, and the sign-up process hasn’t been optimized for Android — purchasing or upgrading to a family membership will require a Mac or iOS device.”
“Apple appears to have adapted the application’s user interface slightly to conform to Android interaction paradigms,” AppleInsider reports, “but doesn’t seem to have adopted Google’s material design.”

Went to the site. 100-500 downloads and 2500 reviews. Funny but 1/2 were very good and 1/2 terrible.
Android, where the cheap get even cheaper. LOL
Fandroid Armageddon has arrived. It won’t surprise if there are neckbeard riots and loud, high–pitched wailing noises emenating from basements.
At this point the app is more useful for iOS users that moved over to Android. If so it’s an interesting move to somewhat lower the urge to repurchase music in Android’s ecosystem.
…and again, I turn my 64 GB iPhone on in the truck to play Jim Hall’s “Concierto”, just bought and added to iTunes (via a CD).
What do I get, but a notice that I am NOT ON A NETWORK!!!
I have an Android company phone, I don’t need to carry around another bill (so my iPhone is more iPod) but I do expect my iPhone to still work without wifi….or Apple Music, which has screwed it up to the core.
Fortunately, Prime Music on my POS MoTo worked fine.
That’s sad…and aggravating as HELL!!!!
(lesson is, I won’t be adding Apple to my MoTo)
