Best Buy now taking Apple TV preorders for November 4th in-store pickup or delivery

“Best Buy is now accepting Apple TV 4 pre-orders on its U.S. website for in-store pickup or delivery beginning Wednesday, November 4,” Joe Rossignol reports for MacRumors.

“The electronics retailer is carrying the new Apple TV in 32GB and 64GB models for $149.99 and $199.99 respectively alongside an optional two-year AppleCare Protection Plan for $29,” Rossignol reports. “Apple has not confirmed when the new Apple TV will be available at Apple Stores in the U.S. and other launch countries, but next week is a possibility based on Apple’s own shipping estimates and Best Buy’s in-store release date.”

Rossignol reports, “Personal Pickup for the new Apple TV is currently unavailable through the Apple Online Store.”

MacDailyNews Take: Regardless of where you pick one up, oh, yes, you want at least one of these babies!

Yesterday, we started taking orders for the all new Apple TV and it was a huge first day for this exciting new product. We want to provide the same innovation in the living room that we delivered in our iOS devices. People are already watching more TV through apps today and we think apps represent the future of TV. We’ve built a new foundation around this vision with a new operating system called tvOS innovative ways to connect with your screen and a smart use of Siri to search for what to watch. — Apple CEO Tim Cook, October 27, 2015

  1. pAy attention to the details younidiot analists.

All of Apple’s products and services are responsble for the quarterly profit record numbers that Apple makes ( that’s + – 30 Billion).

Most companies would die to have the “diminishing iPad, Mac, Apple watch and Apple TV sales number that ” MISS” your inbred little brain’s ” EXPECTATIONS”.

  2. Also if you don’t already have one get a Discover Card. They are offering double cash back for the first year of card ownership and also 10% cash back if you use ApplePay in store. So you get 20% cash back on AppleTV. I Pre-Ordered one but will return it and then re-purchase in-store via ApplePay.

      1. After I posted the above, started thinking..
Are you returning the Apple TV you ordered before you knew of this incentive? Or trying to get it both ways?..
I read it as trying to get it both ways, but then had the feeling you meant you heard of this after you ordered.

    1. You are a loser for pre-ordering with the intention of returning a perfectly functional item, only to purchase it again.

I hope they charge you a restocking fee and you waste your time and gas.
