T-Mobile trade-in plan offers iPhone 6s from $5 per month

“Three days ahead of Apple’s big iPhone launch, T-Mobile CEO John Legere announced a promotional payment plan that presents upgrade customers with an opportunity to own a new iPhone 6s for as little as $5 per month,” AppleInsider reports.

“An extension of T-Mobile’s ‘Jump on Demand’ initiative, the new incentive lets customers trade in their old iPhone for a new iPhone 6s lease priced at $5, $10 or $15 a month,” AppleInsider reports. “Owners of last year’s iPhone 6 only have to pay $5 per month, while those trading in an iPhone 5s need to shell out $10 per month.”

AppleInsider reports, “Customers trading in any other device rate the $15 per month tier.”

  1. So, where are all those ANALyst that claimed the iPhone was very bad for the carriers? if that true, why are the carriers struggling to keep selling the iphone even that they no longer need to? Most of the so called “ANALyst” are just hardcore android fans of apple haters and they express and sentimental opinion and not a real investigation or fact.

      1. I tried the TMo test drive last year in the SF Bay Area. Where it worked (SF, parts of the South Bay and East Bay) it was really good. Where it didn’t work (Marin, Lafayette, Sonoma County and the coast), it REALLY didn’t work. AT&T did (at least when I did the test drive) have better coverage where I live. As Jubei says below, maybe it’s better now. Would love to try another test drive to check it out.
