Nice list… Though I am sure Windows 10 will run on more. It’s supposed to run on anything Windows 7 can run on. Technically, that would be EVERYTHING Apple built, since the first Intel processor came out… I have Win 10 64 bit running on my white MacBook, that can’t run Lion.
I am trying to think of the strategy here. What is Microsoft up to? This is not a genuine, “We care for you,” process. This is, we have a plan that makes money from you process…

I see, my Win10/64setup on Bootcamp works since last Saturday. It was beta, yes. Now it is not anymore, still works just fine, for Old Blood, AOE or other waste-of-time 😛
Sometimes – when I remember my industry days – I think might consider to buy Redmonds MS in order to simply shut down Windows and replace it very generously.

There needs to be an OS for the 5 billion “Not” Apple systems, as it will take time to replace them all. Would be nice to haul out BeOS and give that away, as the “for everyone else” edition.
Interesting that Mac mini 2011 is not listed. I have 64-bit Windows 10 as a virtual machine with VMware Fusion, on my Mac mini 2011.
NOTE: I would not pay for Windows 10. However, when Microsoft released an early “beta” version for free public testing, I signed up and installed it as a virtual machine (out of “morbid” curiosity). After a few hours of playing around with it, I lost interest and just let its disk image sit there unused. When Windows 10 was officially released, I ran it again, and downloaded the installer for Windows 10 (free). I expected a need for some long activation code, but found that the installer updated my existing beta copy of Windows 10. Not sure it will be free forever, but it hasn’t asked me to buy a copy yet…
Seems like Windows 10 is a competent release. If Microsoft was run competently, THIS would have been what came after Windows 7 (which was also a competent release). Instead, Microsoft alienated its existing customers with “touch first” Windows 8.

The Win 10 Free Upgrade works. I did it on mine.
I have 7 on boot camp partition. The invitation to upgrade from Microsoft never shows up. I followed their troubleshooting steps to trigger it but it never worked.
I never got the upgrade prompt either.
I ended up using the media creation tool, which allowed me to run the upgrade without actually creating any media. It worked great and activated with no issues.

I did an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my existing boot camp partition and it worked great. Had to re-install one of the drivers after the fact (can’t remember which one now) but after that it was smooth as silk.
Anyone around here on Linux using Bootcamp ?
Ubuntu works fine in VM, but seems to provide some serious sudo shit to cover that installation adjustments.

I’m waiting for Windows 10 Ultimate Superfabulous Special Limited Ballmers Edition with Bonus Fanny Service Pack. Comes in limited edition 400kb Single Sided Installer Disk Box Kit that can be used for extra storage for your dirty underwear. Can’t wait! 😛
2-year old (i.e. early 2013) Mac Pros are not supported.
Apple has $150 billion and will not support its 2-year old computers. While it doesn’t exactly render those Mac Pros obsolete, it does, of course, accelerate the ultimate trip to the landfill.
Tim Cook likes to pretend that he is “green” but he is full of it. Cheap Windows computers are supported better than Apple computers.
To anyone complaining about unsupported Windows 10 on your Mac: I’m running it from a separate hard drive on an original Mac Pro 1,1! I have a supported AMD Radeon 4870 video card. Windows 10 works fine. I was previously running Windows 7 with 64-bit Boot Camp drivers meant for 64-bit Vista. Windows 10 installed right over top of Windows 7 easy. The only thing I had to install from the Boot Camp package was the Apple keyboard driver for Windows 8.1 so my Apple keyboard’s special function keys work. And yes I’m also running running Yosemite with the Piker-Alpha boot.efi.
I had a Windows 7 partition for certain things, and I’ve tried and hated Windows 8 and 8.1. But since it was free for 10 I figured I would try it because I cannot fall behind on any OS. It’s actually a hell of a lot better than 8/8.1, which wasn’t hard because 7 was a hell of a lot better than them too. But imagine all the things you like from 7 that were missing or unusable in 8, with some more modern UI, and still some spammy-feeling new features and bloat, and then you’ve got 10. I hate it a lot less than 8 and not sure whether I hate it more than 7 or not yet.
