You have no idea where the term “white hot” came from or you wouldn’t make a spectacle of yourself by saying that.
“White hot” comes from the metallurgy world of refiners where molten steel at temperature ready to put into the rolling mills or casting looks “white hot.” Red hot and yellow hot are cooler.
